Hey ya'll,

    Its been several months since I last updated, so I thought that I would write to tell you what is going on in my life. Today I mailed out my AYUSA application, the next step is to wait for my telephone interview. After my interview, I will be notified if I am accepted into the program. Once I get accepted, its then to wait for a host family. I really hope it isnt "last minute" when I get my host family.. I want to be able to atleast send them a few emails before I go..Other than that, there is nothing else going on in my life.. I'm still taking German, which is going pretty well..

Hey! Welcome to my new mindsay journal. Next August, I will be going to Germany to spend a year there as an exchange student. Yes, i'm sure your wondering why I have a journal almost a year in advance. Well, its quite a long process to become an exchange student... you have applications to fill out, and interviews, orientations, recieving all info about where your going, getting placed with a host family. I'm sure you get the point. Instead of having to send out dozens of emails to family and friends, they can just come here and read about all the interesting things during the process of becoming an exchange student and during my year in Germany. Feel free to post any comments you may have. Thats all for now.
